Angela’s Heart started up in January of 2012.

In that same month, Lea Karen Kivi met with survivors of abuse and faith community leaders to begin to discern the needs of the time.

In the aftermath of a wave of abuse of children and adults within churches of all denominations, Lea set about finding a way to support those who have been affected by abuse.

The company initially only provided business and technical writing services to information technology and financial institutions.

In addition to  the above services, Angela’s Heart now has some availability to offer alternative dispute resolution-related services. These services would be offered in hopes of avoiding re-traumatizing people (who have already been grievously harmed) in adversarial, litigious environments, and to minimize the costs to all parties.
